I write high-heat, high-action sci-fi romance and i'm powered by Yorkshire Gold and the judgmental stares of my terrier, Dougal. I spent twenty years in customer service before deciding to channel two decades of rage, a filthy imagination, and an encyclopaedic knowledge of 90's metal into books about a smuggler who solves every problem with wit, weapons, and spectacularly bad decisions. My books feature competent heroines, possessive aliens with creative anatomy, and the kind of scenes that require a fan, a cold drink, and plausible deniability on your Kindle. I live with Richard (the husband unit), who has never read a single word i've written, and Dougal (the Office Manager), who has heard every draft and remains unimpressed.
